Man Is the Bastard isn't just a powerviolence band. Even though they were a leading influence in this punk genre, many sludge metal fans are tagging it as such, and I agree not only that they are in face sludge metal due to their very dirty sound which occasionally sounds more akin to metal than hardcore, but that their influential debut album and their album "The Lost M.I.T.B. Sessions" are two absolute essentials in the genre. Their popularity has increased as of late thanks to streaming. If you don't believe me, check their albums' genre tagging on RYM. They are also seen as sludge metal on Sputnik Music and Metal Music Archives, especially in regards to the debut album and their lost sessions.

There are so talented metal musicians The lineup of this nordic-gothic band is...
Guitars - Markus Vanhala (Insomnium, Omnium Gatherum, I Am The Night)
Vocals - Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity, The Halo Effect)
Keyboard - Santeri Kallio (Amorphis)
Bass - Victor Brandt (Dimmu Borgir)
Drums - Vesa Ranta (ex-Senteced, Abbey)
It will be something different from this Finnish gods, but it has to be on this Metalstorm website..!

Decent lineup but no releases yet, and also "You may call it gothic rock, dark rock or >even< heavy metal. We just call it Nordic Gothic." -> let's wait for that single out. |

One of the best band of the genre and their last album is pretty good and enjoyable. One of the few metalcore bands to produce good music while remaining in the classic style of the genre. |

A three-piece from Prague. Stoner rock with tendencies and attitude of punk, echoes of doom metal, elements of psychedelic rock, poignant noise rock or 90’s grunge.
Members: Alexej Fonar, Dominik Klesa, Radek Bacík |

Heavy stoner rock band from The Netherlands, with Spanish vocals. Also, they use winds on the mix, which make them a very original and fresh band.

Underrated Industrial metal/rock band, very similar to bands like Filter, NIN, KMFDM, and Skinny Puppy. I recommend this to fans of any of those bands. Please show this underrated band some love. They may not be the most popular in the industrial sub genres but I think their just as good.
