Biography

In 1988 Expulsion was formed out of the ashes of thrash band River's Edge. River's Edge vocalist Johan Edlund went on to start Treblinka, and later Tiamat. Magnus Krantz, the lead guitarist of River's Edge joined Tranquillity. Bassist Anders Holmberg, guitarist Stefan Lagergren and drummer Calle Fransson continued to play together, as Expulsion.
Holmgren and Lagergren also played in Treblinka and Tiamat (debut album).

Two demos were released, Cerebral Cessation and Veiled In The Mists of Mystery, before the band was put on hold in late 1990.

In the end of 1991, the band reformed with a different line-up, and released the EP A Bitter Twist of Fate, and the albums Overflow and Man Against.

In 2011, Vic Records will release Certain Corpses Never Decay, a compilation of the two demos, together with an unreleased 7" (Studio Sunlight recording) and a compilation-only track.

Expulsion is, however, not reunited. ..
