Biography

Formed in 2012 by Ron D (Romeo Must Die/The Hyde Project) and Tom 'Kingsize' Hennessy (Kingsize Blues/Kill for Company) Dishonour The Crown quickly appeared onto the UK Metal/Hardcore scene with the DIY recorded and self released 6 track EP 'Gone to the Dogs' followed by a video for the title track.

In the space of 6 months DTC evolved from two individuals creating music inspired by a Cuntry full of vexed people, to a band booking shows around the UK, devastating the stages with their infusion of Hardcore, Thrash, Death and Grind.

In 2013 DTC were invited to play Bloodstock Festival's New Blood Stage where they played to a packed tent with wheel chair crowd surfing and heightened police presence. An achievement appreciated from a band with minimal time on the scene.

With an album written and plans to push the band forward Ron had to stand down to see his family and work commitments take priority. The band made a lineup change to continue with shows and supported Blood Red Throne along with some further headline slots. However by then drive had gone and addiction took hold seeing the band come to an end in 2014.

2017 sees Ron D and Kingsize reignite DTC as way to face demons and vent. With the addition of Lew Berl and Craig Daws (Sacred Mother Tongue/Wearing Scars) the long awaited full length album 'The English Way' was finished and released 6 years on from the bands first release.

Where once a band focused on political topics they look at social and economical issues, addiction and pain suffered by many, wrapped up in a full on brutal assault to the senses.

After Spinal Tapping with drummers Dishonour the Crown are completed with addition of Gareth Arlett (Amputated) seeing a solid lineup to deliver devastation at the host of shows booked including the killer Amplified Festival, Southwest Heavy Fest, Thrashersaurus, Mosh Against Cancer 4, Hop Fest and Headlining two Bloodstock M2M Semi Finals.

We live in a time where bands saturate the scene, music is readily available at no cost and attention spans lack. Make no mistake DTC are a band that will captivate, decimate and stand strong in delivering to their continued fans.
