Collateral Damage is an Italian rock band formed in 2004 by the guitarist Alex Damage, the drummer Slam Cage and the guitarist Blade. The band found his official line up in 2006 with the entrance in the band of Matt at the voice and Steve at the Bass guitar. They recorded and selfproduct their first demo disc in 2008 which contains three songs. The band plays around the country, getting in touch with Rock Tv and some of the artist that work with the Italian Rock Channel , they plays with band like Rezophonic, Cristina Scabbia, Pino Scotto, Steve Angarthal, Infernal Poetry and many more? In these live show Collateral Damage involve so much their fans that the CEO of Rock Tv called the guys to make them know one of the best productor in Italy? Alberto "Skizzo" Bonardi how recorded album for some of the best Italian Metal Bands like "Death SS".
In 2009 under the guide of Skizzo Collateral Damage starts to recorded their first Studio Album called obviously "COLLATERAL DAMAGE". The band create an album of fuckin heavy metal, with a very Straight in Face Sound? They mixed the album in the same studio where bands like Lacuna Coil moved their first steps, the place was full of the magic of rock! The album was ditribuited by Alkemist Fanatix Europe, an Italian agency who helped the band to collect a lot of features in Italy.
"Collateral Damage" collected a lot of good review also in other country like Germany, Netherland, England and also Japan!!! The sound is so strong and direct that the listeners became fan in a few seconds? The band play an some important stage like the "Cold Night In Hell" in 2010 in Genoa, sharing the stage with act like Abscura, Node, Secret Sphere and other big name in the underground Metal scene.
After being a well know band in the Underground scene they search a new sound, they started to compose new songs late in 2010, tryin to search an Hard 'n Heavy sound that could suite with the 80's style of the members. They also try a new productor for their second album. The choose ends with another famous Italian Productor, Frank Andiver. He work with many famous band like Rhapsody of Fire, Labyrinth, Wonderland, Luca Turilli ecc?
The sound of the band now is more similar to the 80's hard rock band like Alice Cooper, Wasp, Def Leppard and Motley Crue. They produced also a video clip of the title track of the new album "The Carnival" that reach a lot of fans in a few days. The studio work will be a concept album represent by a "dark carnival", a place where the differences between any social classes will disappear, because a rich man but also a poor one could have fear for something, death, money, love, madness, all this feelings are universal for all of us, and you could find all of them in "THE CARNIVAL".
Now the band has a worldwide manager, Anni Kitmoller, and with her they're searching for a good label who could put Collateral Damage in the industry of music for real.
Collateral Damage want to say to the world that the first goal of anybody is to always have fun, to enjoy the life in each little things!
