Biography

Dirty Woman is a Stoner- rock/metal band that was created by guitarist Edson Alemán (former Atoxxxico, Invectiva, 34-D and Tusken Raiders). The first line-up counted with the participation of Alfonso Brito on vocals, Ray Orta at the bass guitar and José Antonio Fortul at the drums. Together they recorded a 4 song EP entitled "First Party".

Short after recording Alfonso and Antonio left the band, while J.A. Neumann (vocals) and Gonzalo Lara (Drums) came to relief. José de la O (Los Fernanduccis) joined the band as the second guitar.

In 2009 Dirty Woman found a stable cohesion with their definitive line-up: Aside Edson Alemán, DW is now formed by Ángel Castillo (former Faded Mortar) playing bass, Lutz Alexander Keferstein (former Blood Soaked and Arkhé) on vocals and Julio Cesar López (former Tusken Raiders) on drums, thus meeting his old musica pal Edson in a new project.

Dirty Woman is a band which defines with precision that which a Stoner-rock band shall be. They have reached an equilibrium between heavy, thick mammoth riffs and a slight touch of good old blues, which makes Dirty Woman impossible to deny that their roots are to be found in the realms of 70's NWBHM, Thrash and even Hard core.

Being the members as rocker as they are, their life seems to be quite polyphasic, since Edson Aleman is a journalist former chief of information in a major news Mexican broadcaster (Tv Azteca), Ángel Castillo a Librarian in a State University (UACM) and Lutz A. Keferstein an academician at a major university in Mexico City (ITAM).
