Seigmen - Biography

This band's profile is 'invisible', meaning that it's much less prominent on the site - either because it's incomplete, or maybe doesn't entirely fit MS format.

Symbol used by the band on releases, posters and live.

Split up in 1999, some members later formed Zeromancer. Seigmen was a national success, but due to the fact that the first four album's lyrics were in Norwegian, they never got much attention outside Scandinavia.

With Metropolis (which they released in two versions) they started with English lyrics, and the music turned from being a style similar to Drawn, to be pure melancholic rock like newer Anathema and Katatonia.

The band reformed in 2005 for a series of live shows in Norway. The sold out shows resulted in a live album. The band seems to be on hiatus since 2006.
