The Fallen Divine - Biography

This band's profile is 'invisible', meaning that it's much less prominent on the site - either because it's incomplete, or maybe doesn't entirely fit MS format.

The Fallen Divine is a progressive metal band hailing from Oslo, Norway. The band was founded in 2009, and has since then written some great tunes, recorded one EP and one full-length album. In addition to this, the band has been doing shows all over Norway with other up and coming fellow Norwegians, such as Kvelertak and Insense.

The Fallen Divine's music contains strong progressive elements, as well as influences from a wide spectrum of genres such as death metal, black metal, symphonic metal, folk music and other genres. This mesmerizing amalgamation of influences can be heard on their most recent effort, the full-length album The Binding Cycle.

The Norse quintet spent hours upon hours in the rehearsal room until the songs on The Binding Cycle were strong, unique and ready for the rest of the world to listen. In the summer of 2011 they entered Sonic Train studios with Andy LaRocque of King Diamond fame to take care of production, mixing and mastering.

The Binding Cycle contains eight musically strong songs, and is a considerable step forward from the groups previous EP; The Eternal Past And Future which was released in 2010. The band is now ready to get out on the road to show the world what they are made of, so brace yourself for the raging and thunderous coming down from the North that is The Fallen Divine.
