Biography

Parasitic Extirpation began its existence in the fall of 2007, shortly after the disintegration of New England death metal outfit Porphyria. Guitarist Blue Spinazola (Dysentery/Sexcrement) and Tim Murphy (vocals) quickly recruited former The Taste Of Silver drummer Alex Carrara, integrated Drew Copeland-Will (Proteus/Dysentery) on bass, and lead guitarist Chris Kessaris (3 Headed Monster). The end result is a precise and tightly woven fusion of technical death metal and guttural, groove-laden insanity.

The band entered 2008 with the release of the Knee Deep In Disease EP and with it they garnered great responses in reviews worldwide and hammering eardrums live. Playing shows throughout the Northeast alongside heavyweights such as Cephalic Carnage, Skinless, Dying Fetus, Misery Index, Rotten Sound, Origin, Circle Of Dead Children and more, the band quickly made their presence known in the underground.

After almost a year of endless toiling, the band released their debut full-length Casketless in the spring of 2010 on Sevared Records. In support of the album, they spent the the better half of the year touring around the US and continuing to beat listeners senseless.

Following a year of personnel changes and wrenches in the works, the band emerged with a revamped line-up consisting of Mallika Sundaramurthy (Abnormality) on vocals, Jim Fitzpatrick and Damon Psarris (Boarcorpse) on drums/bass respectively, and founding guitarists Spinazola and Kessaris.

Currently, the group is honing their brand of surgically precise technicality in preparation for a return to the live circuit towards the end of the year/early 2012. Also being crafted are new slabs of blasting insanity for a follow-up release to 2010's full length Casketless. The band promises to deliver their most focused, tight and brutal material to date.
