In the years before the millennium switch, a vast technological breakdown was foretold. It would be the end of the world as it had been perceived by humankind up to that point. And indeed mankind was plagued by a growing feeling of unease in the hours that led up to the coming new Year Zero - but nothing happened...

Or so we were told.

Out of the imaginary ruins of a bygone era, Creature was born and immediately put its mark upon the Belgian soil with the release of the first demo appropriately titled 'Apocalyptic Dawn'. Two more releases followed and built further upon the same post-apocalyptic vision, granting the band a stable line-up in the form of Tim Keppens (vocals / guitars), Ruben Bossuyt (guitars), Michaela Van Fleteren (bass) and Wouter Keppens (drums).

With the releases of Triumph of the Unborn and later Dying Nation, the band gained a strong live reputation resulting in numerous gigs with bands like Manegarm, Rotting Christ and Suidakra and a well-received performance at Metalcamp (Slovenia). A few chaotic years later the band is again in the studio recording the successor to Dying Nation entitled Utopia In Flames, to be released in 2012.
