Dusks Embrace is a melodic death metal band from Salem, Oregon. The band is made up of Josh Brewer, Joey Westerlund, Pat Carter and Taylor Vincelli.
Dusks Embrace was founded by Josh Brewer and Pat Carter in the fall of 2006. Pat and Josh spent the next year and a half looking for the right members and beginning to write material for a full length album.
Throughout 2008 we finished up writing the first album "Paradigm Shift" and built a studio in Dallas, Oregon to record it in. We spent the next few months playing shows to support that album. A few months after that release Pat decided to pursue other interests in music. After some time searching we found his replacement in. Joey Westerlund.
