Towards the steepest of cliffsides,
Chasing the lost and divine,
Looming in the distance enshrined

As the morning sun greets the world
Another page is slowly turned
Two broken arms row upstream
One paling body tearing at the seams
As all atoms are aspiring to be split in two

Greetings told to deaf ears
Words spoken in twisted tongues
Search beyond the obscuring veil
Look yonder where time mends the frail
And the flow of serenity runs deep

The soul - the sole importance

Leave here, set sail for deliverance
To the ocean shores of a foreign land
Where the wounded repose to heal
Too many years the blood has been pouring
Turn the crimson tide around
And though demons disturb these waters,
Ride the waves into the fiery storm

A dire attempt to grasp that which lies sealed
Pursuing a path that few have trailed
Blessed are those whose stride is resolute,
To carry the children for whom the lies go mute
And the strength to obliterate the disease

Spores - white threads sown into pale flesh
New beginnings trickle down a breathless pipe
Creeping corrosion - a return to dust

Seeds borne high on the wind
Gently dispersed like rain
Settling in scars of past battles
And throughout the fields of future wars

An archaic strain expanding in the wake of death
Fertilization - a rebirth from dust

Life's transformation to another alteration
A fetus of the bones and decay
Spreading sensations of fireless cremation
A newborn to upheave at the break of day

Out of the ground from a shadow womb
A resonating pulse, ripe to unearth and reveal
Like a viper waiting to be charmed
A strand of hair breaks the skin

Life's transformation at the point of culmination
A journey to the depths and the sky
Soul alleviation from sainted medication
A dreamer thriving on the edge of night

Hold me under water
Or raise me aloft the sky
Whatever disrupts this peace
And dims this beguiling light
From the utmost tip of my being.
To the bedrock of my soul;
Deep where a truth quivers,

Crowns rustle in a choir,
Describing something dear and serene
A wave's fluent fluctuation
Reflects the state I'm in

My head conducts the silence so deafening
