In 2003, vocalist Ben Bruce created a band in Dubai named End of Reasons. Just before they stopped the band, a few years later, they changed their name to [band]Asking Alexandria[\band] and released an album called "The Irony of Your Perfection". In 2008, when Ben Bruce form his new band in the United Kingdom, he decided to keep the name of his previous band : "I kept the name Asking Alexandria because I came up with it originially and I liked it haha, basically the meaning behind the name never changed, it's exactly how I feel and are the aims/goals of this band."
