Managed not only to get last-minute tickets for this but also convinced a girl (!) to join me. She's vegan so I told her it would be relevant to her interests. I told her not to listen to them beforehand so she could enjoy the surprise of completely new music. We'll see if she ever talks to me again after this.

I brought my girlfriend to a Cancer Bats show and she said she was scared the whole time  . Make sure to go early enough to catch Author & Punisher as they look insane live.

Written by Boxcar Willy on 03.12.2019 at 18:07 She mostly listens to Taylor Swift and other female-fronted pop but I gave her a fair warning that this would be unlike anything she's ever heard before (her exposure to metal is equal to that 15-year-old who just discovered Metallica and Slipknot via last.fm). I imagine her reaction will be similar to your gf's. We'll be there for the opening for sure; I didn't drop 70 bucks on two tickets to watch one band lol
