I've never quite understood the sense of that measure. I always take a spare cork with me at open air concerts |

A cork or a screw cap is with what you close your water bottles. At many big open air concerts you are allowed to bring one bottle of water with you, but at the entrance they often take away the screw cap of your bottle, so when going to such a concert with a bottle I often carry another screw cap (a spare one) with me. |

Do you mean plastic bottles or glass bottles?
Either way, in Belgium you aren't allowed to bring any bottle whatsoever at big open air concerts. No plastic, no glass, only carton (tetra pack). Apparently a couple of years ago there was some sort of mass fight when everybody started throwing plastic bottles at each other. Unfortunately some dude got seriously hurt ( ). Come to think of it, on most Belgian open air festivals there is a very severe and strict policy; there are a lot of rules and prohibitions actually on Belgian festivals... |
Plastic bottles, of course. And not at festivals, but at stadium concerts. At most festivals you aren't allowed to take plastic bottles with you either, but tetra packs instead, and plastic cups like you get them at the stands in the festival area anyway. And with the current boom of viking metal there are also some festivals which allow you to bring along your horn in the festival area |

Yea right, i think its nothing but rumors. Theres no way they will separate all people in 2 concerts if u mean like its happening 2 days and each day 1 concert
P.S.
whats difference between flying plastic bottle or paper one if its filled with sand or w/e it can do some damage.. |
| There will be no Machinehead. Look at band's website and see no info about it. |
| Yap because in that day 07.20 - they are in Denver, CO - Coors Amphitheatre |
But anyway, if Machine Head won't be - who's then?
Oh, I wish I could see Slayer too, but damn, Estonians grabbed them. Okay, I'll go through. |

The Sword and Down. I don't know these bands very good and i don't even care about them because i will be there only for Metallica. |
| I don't know any of these bands, of course - except Metallica. arghh. |
| I tried to listen a bit Down and The Sword. Actually they are crap (for me). Or maybe they were wrong bands because there could be several bands with so trivial names. |
why do you say that they're wrong bands? I think they are quite accordant to Metallica (I listened them in the myspace) and yes, I'm not a fan of these two either.
and now I'm missing Machine Head although I don't like them too. |

At last I will see Matallica, I hope they won't suck!

I've been on Metallica gigs already 3 times, but I was not there in Riga, obviously (Otherwise I would have told and we could have had some alcoholic beverages together ).
But I have a login at the "met-on-tour" website (website concerning Metallica live dates and everything around), so I can easily look up setlists. So there you go. |
