I heard from a band member who played there with two bands that the sound on stage for the bands was absolutely horrendous... how was the sound for the people watching?

From Choy or Wildoer? Didn't like both Darkane's and Atheist's sound in the beginning of their gigs and totally missed Hate Eternal's so much awaited "wall of sound". The others were from ok to perfect, ecpecially Suffo, Brujeria, Marduk and Cynic(!!!, Paul's vocals disappeared occasionally, but his clean voice, Sean's bass drum and Robin's bass were simply the phenomenon).

From Choy whom I spoke last Sunday at the Atheist Obscura Gnostic gig here in The Netherlands and I think Uterwijk also mentioned it.
