| Autumn just delivered an excellent show in Muenchen. The setlist contained only one song from Summer's End and the rest was fifty fifty from their "My New Time" and "Altitude" CDs . There were only about 30 persons in the cozy Backstage Club and I don't want to know how many of them were friends and crew. Within minutes the band had warmed up and soon a very friendly atmosphere filled the hall. For a few moments I thought this thing would go downhill because of the tiny crowd, but it became one of those wonderful "living room" gigs which are most rewarding for the audience, but not a commercial success. I'm not a big fan of their latest CD, it is good, but just not my taste. Live however I found the material from this CD enjoyable nevertheless. My personal highlights were Angel Of Desire, Forget To Remember and Twisted and Turned from the "My New Time" CD and Epilogue at the very end of the concert was just breathtaking. |
