Definitely gonna be there again. For some reason SB is always the festival which sees me drinking the most and still getting to see more bands than at any other festival. And surprisingly I even remember most of them |

| I want to go this year, not sure if it's gonna be good though. Because it seems there's no nature and the landscape is flat... Dunno, airplort field? Is it any fun there, except for the actual concert? How is the general atmosphere? |

The atmosphere is what you make of it. I found loads of people to hang out, mosh and drink beers with in no time. But you do get the impression that it's not only about the party like on the small festivals or the really big ones like Wacken, but more about the bands. Or at least that's what it's like for me. But what else do you expect by such lineups as Summer Breeze has packed the last couple of years? And the confirmation of Ahab just contributes to this. |

Ok, the confirmations for the last 5 days have been disappointing to me.
Maroon
The Devil’s Blood
Hail Of Bullets
Long Distance Calling
We Butter The Bread With Butter
Origin
Frei.Wild
Eisregen
Insomnium |
They have been awesome for me! LDC, Origin and Insomnium are bands I've wanted to see for quite a while now
Hail of Bullets and The Devil's Blood are solid as well. |
Sólstafir and The Crown!! And the ticket is ordered! |
| This fest's bill is getting better and better... |
| Oooh Cannibal Corpse! Finally a headliner that ain't all faggy. Last year was pretty bad with Cradle of Filth, Subway to Sally and Helloween. Thank goodness Breeze ain't about the big names at all. |

Their headliners have always been crap. But it's all the somewhat unknown bands like Insomnium, Sólstafir, The Crown, Ahab, Callisto, Long Distance Calling, generally stuff not every other festival would book, that really attract me to Summer Breeze.
Btw, my ticket has just arrived |

anyway, this line-up is good, with a few bands i wanted to check out for a while, including one of the bands that got me into metal, The 69 Eyes... this is my German back-up festival if i don't have enough money for Wacken haha. |

| If I ever get to see Macabre live one day, I will be happy. |

I think Bloodstock is on the 13th to the 15th and I'll probably be sick of festivals by this point again, hahaha.
I do have friends going though, so it isn't a 100% no. |

Sure thing! So you gonna bring your girlfriend along? It could turn out a bit cramped in the car then because I've also promised a guy from Romania to take him along (in exchange for Tuica ). But I'm sure we'll manage somehow |

Thanks! And yes, if I come I'll be 2, as my girlfriend'll be there also (you'll meet her at Hellfest), as she definitively wants to see Anathema and Orphaned Land |

Yeah, they are shipped to you. Last year the festival was sold out, so I wouldn't rely on picking up your ticket at the festival grounds. |

lol unfortunately that will most likely be off. financial trouble spells i won't be able to get to a foreign festival this summer. there's always next summer though |

Finally a few more new bands: Tryptikon, Skeletonwitch and Warbringer |
| Wow, that's a pretty great line-up... |
| My ticket has arrived some days ago, it's going to be great! |

BE'LAKOR!!! |
Huh already sold out (almost), three and half months before the festival |
Unfortunately, thrash/black/death metallers SKELETONWITCH have to cancel their appearance at SUMMER BREEZE Open Air 2010.
Fuck... |
If any of you need a better looking running order than the one provided by the festival website, I've created one and uploaded it here.
I've printed it in order 4-1-2-3, two pages on one and duplex, so you can fold it like a brochure |

I'LL BE THERE! It's almost here... I'm a noob here, but yeah.. just thought I'd say. |

| I have my plane to Milan in about an hour, from there I'll get to Dinkelsbühl by car. Starting tomorrow, this will be an interesting weekend! |
