On July 11th 2010 Magic Circle Festival IV will be held in Tolmin, Slovenia

After Germany hosting the first three Magic Circle Festivals - with fans from more than 44 countries attending - Slovenia has been nominated to be the exclusive host for 2010.

Tolmin/Slovenia is conveniently located in the heart of Europe, only 95km from Ljubljana (Slovenia), 105km from Villach (Austria), 400km from Munich (Germany), 97km from Udine (Italy) and 240km from Zagreb (Croatia). This partnership with Metalcamp 2010 celebrates the first Magic Circle Festival outside German territory.

The show coincides with the final game of the FIFA World Cup in South Africa, which will be broadcast LIVE at the event on a gigantic screen. Immediately following the game, Manowar hits the stage! The World Cup/concert combination promises to make "Magic Circle Festival at Metalcamp 2010" the greatest football-meets-metal party ever for those in attendance! In addition to Manowar, special guests include Magic Circle Music recording artists HolyHell and Metalforce. Other acts and program details to be announced soon.

Whether you are already planning to attend Metalcamp 2010 or not, make sure to join in this very special event and witness the first-ever Manowar concert in Slovenia! The Death To Infidels World Tour 2010 is Manowar's first full-length world tour in over a decade and "Magic Circle Festival at Metalcamp 2010" is a must-see event. As the Kings of Metal descend upon Slovenia, they will be conquering new territory in their ongoing pursuit of world domination!

Please note:

Metalcamp organizers are probably counting that same people that are going to attend MC 10 will also attend this Magic Circle thing... But who the hell will pay another 60 right after paying 120 for full festival (+ other expenses like drink and food) and after being completly exhausted after 7 days of festival... And just to see Manowar... And there are 12,000 tickets available, same as for the full festival... Long-shot I guess and I think someone felt the opportunity to make more money...

Yes, the Loinlords of sell-out... Manowar.
The 60 euro per ticket is what they are charging at every venue they play at that tour. Hell, here in the Netherlands they play a club (just 2500 seater) and they also charge 60 euro for those same three crappy bands.

60 euro for Manofail? Disgusting, hell I wouldn't even go if they pay me 60 euro...

Well, it's the Magic Circle Festival and not just another tour date, so I guess they'll have some more in store. I bet it's going to be some 10 bands again. Just nothing worthwhile among them, I guess.

yeah, they tend to make the MC festival something special for those who go there... this year they played the Thunder In The Sky EP, and last year they played all their first 3 albums, i guess it's pretty much a special night for the Manowarriors..
and last year i see they brought a few other well-known bands, like Doro, Alice Cooper, Wasp and Michael Schenker Group

for me Metal Camp + MCF seem to be the biggest opportunity for next year's holidays, though it's gonna cost me a small fortune (something like 370 euros in total), plus seeing how the Manowar fans are pretty much the most tightly-knit and loyal group of fans, there's 0% chance for a fight breaking out if the wrong team wins the World Cup final

Well maybe here in Slovenia but it is already 100% sure that in 013, Tilburg, The Netherlands one will only get Metalforce, HolyHell and Manowar for those same 60 euros.

That's what I was saying.

Slovenia = Magic Circle Festival
Everywhere else = Death to Infidels Tour
Death to Infidels Tour = Manowar + HolyHell + Metalforce
Magic Circle Festival = Manowar + HolyHell + Metalforce + X

Hell no, I won't see Manowar if they pay me 60! Blek, I hope this shit gets cancelled, cause it's a simple rip off for people st00pid enough who like gayowar.

I'm so sorry for I said that, I was probably drunk and on dope at the same time.... I'm surely gonna be there when Manowar play, I just hope Tokio Hotel could join also!
legionar - 01.12.2009 at 13:46
I think this Magic Circle is a bullshit, who will pay extra 60 for this.
jess_lacrymosa - 09.04.2010 at 18:38
Just few bands could make me pay 70 euros extra like Kamelot.
If Kamelot are not there neither will I

Well I don't know for sure yet , but now that Arch Enemy and Kamelot are also confirmed (plus if there will be another two great/very good bands for my taste, which is possible), I'll might attend this event...
