Two months. Two months of waiting since Heaven and Hell dropped out of the support (more like co-headliner) slot for this gig. Two months later, MCD Promotions announce the support - Sweet Savage.
Fuck. Even if they were a decent band live, they've supported EVERYONE in Ireland recently - Motorhead, Deep Purple, Saxon, MSG, Metallica, as well as playing their own headlining shows. Everyone's sick of seeing them.
I know that I'm going for Maiden, and that's the main thing, but two points stand:
1) Heaven and Hell were going to be headlining. MCD should have got someone of their standing, or at least of their quality.
2) Primordial were submitted as a serious contender for the support slot. |
