Present!

* Slayer : Hope they'll be as good (or even better) than on the first Unholy Alliance Tour. Slayer kicks serious ass live, I swear!
And at least now they headline instead of shitty sucky Slipknot : [I went to see Slipknot only a little bit prejudiced, but seriously, they suck!! Especially live... seriously]

* In Flames : Also second time (and second time this year). I admit they're not so solid live (especially Frienden's vocals) but I'm still very excited to see them again!

* Children Of Bodom : I like their 3 first albums, period. A nice occasion to catch them once live, but I definitely didn't buy the ticket for them. Just a piece of unexpected luck they're on the bill too.

* Lamb Of God : Not familiar with/interested in their 'oeuvre' whatsoever. I will not be sorry if I happen to miss them when I'm at the beer stand...

* Thine Eyes Bleed : Heard a lot of positive things about these guys. They seem pretty sweet live. My expectations are pretty high for them, hope they will be the discovery of the evening.

Not spending any money on this..Slayer would be worth it, but the money and the effort it would take to get there would be too much for one band. In Flames would be good too, but since their last release I seriously reconsidered them. In the bad way.

Too bad, because you got a bit owned by not going
Mighty Slayer ruled everything, seriously! And also In Flames were extremely good (for once). Only playing two songs from their latest album.
Children Of Boredom were pretty OK. They should have played a lot more of their older work. Lamb Of God were do-able, but really nothing special. Thine Eyes Bleed were bad and totally negligible, but they only played for 20minutes.
One bad band, two OK bands, one very good band and one über-band make one hell of an evening, totally worth the money IMO

But I agree transport problems are indeed a big obstacle...
Besides, Mighty Slayer promised they'll be back next year (I bet Graspop) so you can catch them there

Yep, definetly. I felt bad about not seeing Slayer though, but as stated, there factors that contributed to me not going. :p Ah well, perhaps In Flames wasn't so bad if they didn't play much new stuff.. ^^
