21:54 - Marcel Hubregtse Those lyrics are for me the exception to the rule. Damn, they really do move me.
21:42 - Doge of Venice Marcel, I'll have you know that the lyrics in Cannibal Corpse really speak to me on an emotional level, man.
21:37 - Marcel Hubregtse Cool!!!! Ortega with Gnaw Their Tongues (live collab) this year at Roadburn in Cul De Sac (so that will be packed like mad hahahaha)
21:34 - LuciferOfGayness As the blessed dawn emerges And the great fire sets light upon the shadow. We praise the Wheel of the Year. For from death, comes life. And with life comes sacrifice. From sacrifice comes our sorrow. And ever turns the Wheel over
20:50 - Marcel Hubregtse Come to think of it you probably only like instrumental music since in all of music lyrics are 99.99999% of the time totally cheesy and totally crap.
20:08 - Unhealer That's pretty much true given the amount of metal artists there are vs. the ones I like.
This was sick! Songs with mid-paced elements off Torture ("Scourge of Iron", "As Deep As the Knife Will Go") went over brilliantly and sounded fucking brutal. I would have liked to pick up a piece of CC merch, however the small selection selection of items was all Torture cover related and did not appeal to me.
Shout out to Psycroptic for a flawless gee-up job (and, in contrast, an absolutely bitching selection of merch to boot!)
Overall the experience was excellent, and considering the price (AU$60) a bargain! First time seeing either Cannibal Corpse + Psycroptic, and having experienced both i can say i would happily pay to see either again, happily.
