Got ticket as soon as they came out. This is going to be awesome. I'm a bit surprised that it's at the forum though. But hey, metal is pretty popular now. I guess.

Quite big. A bit smaller than the Astoria. The likes of Porcupine Tree and Marillion play there! I really doubt it will sell out...
Baz Anderson - 12.09.2007 at 17:40
you doubt it will sell out?? really?? it's the only date Helloween and Gamma Ray are playing in this country.. I would have thought it would have easily sold out

I just hope everything goes well with me getting there and everything. haha. with luck I will get to interview both the bands as well
Bararey - 29.11.2007 at 17:44
To those of you who bought the ticket already did you receive your ticket?
I've placed mine months ago, and nothing yet...

no - they usually dispatch tickets a couple of weeks before the event.. so I hope you will be wherever you have told them to deliver the ticket a week or so before the show
Bararey - 01.12.2007 at 18:32
Oh boy, this will be interesting, how open they're usually when you call ans state you never received your ticket in the mail?
I know in the US, if that happened who ever sold the tickets would call the venue and ask them to leave me a ticket there...
Especially with the timing of the before the concert with all the holidays...
Baz Anderson - 01.12.2007 at 18:42
well I don't know what will happen, you should probably ring the ticket people - where you actually purchased the ticket and see if they can send it to the venue with your name or something..
I will probably have to sort something as well because where I told them to send the ticket, I won't be there from the middle of December onwards..

my friend got his ticket today, and I used the order tracker on the website and it tells me that mine has been dispached as well..
so maybe you will get yours soon now..
hopefully..

change of venue as well - to the 2000 capacity Shepherds Bush Empire
you should all get a notification about it if you are in the "who's coming" list

thanks for the heads up, I have a mail service in the UK, the ticket should go there, I checked it online and there was nothing, so I'll give it another week before I contact the seller, i tired to track it online, but the needed a reference number, I can't find that either, it has been like 5 months since I've placed the order, and I am not sure where I placed the email or which email account I've used for this purchase.

Habe you been to this other venue? is it all general admission? do you know its general location in London?

I have not been to this venue no - I have only ever seen one band in London before and that was Emperor at the Astoria
it does seem to look like there is an upstairs sort of bit at the venue as you can see - here

I put the postcode of the venue in the notification so you could all see where abouts the venue is - here is a link to a map pointing to the venue is that you can move around and zoom in and out - here.
Bararey - 03.12.2007 at 19:32
thanks for the link,

"Six bars with all levels catered for plus hospitality on Level One" & they have a standing area and 3 levels, this place must be huge.

I'm glad they've switched now I am only 4 tube stations away from where the event is, convenient

are you staying in a hotel or something?
I need to sort out a hotel or somewhere to stay for four of us
Bararey - 03.12.2007 at 19:53
Yeah my brother and I will be in London for a week and we're staying in a hotel that is close by.

If you're going to find a hotel, try to book earlier than later London prices are ridiculously high.

I use www.londontown.com they have good discounts there
Baz Anderson - 04.12.2007 at 01:26
thanks for that link!!!
I have now booked a room at a little hotel - the Rushmore Hotel. it will be about a 30 minute walk from the venue
easy!
Bararey - 17.12.2007 at 07:58
My brother called me last night, he was like "you are going to a concert in London?" so apparently my ticket made it safely to Kuwait, now that's a relief

Do you guys know how much T-shirts in concerts (on average) cost in England?
va5ilis - 19.12.2007 at 01:57
Guys you can always collect your ticket from the box office of the venue. This is what I always do and it's cheaper than paying the postal expenses. I have just booked my ticket for £24.
Cu there brothers m/
Baz Anderson - 19.12.2007 at 15:54
this show is going to be so cool.. I know that is so obvious though.. but wow, there's going to be people from all over the place here. haha

shirts I would imagine will cost either £15 or £20 each
usually shirts are arounf £12 or £15 at a show but these are big bands so I bet they will be a little more expensive. £15 is my guess

when I saw Twisted Sister and Alice Cooper at the Sheffield Arena a few years ago; shirts were £20 each and some were £30!! amazing!!
