Location: Iceland

Dimmuborgir is a large area of unusually shaped lava fields east of Mývatn in Iceland. The Dimmuborgir area is composed of various caves and rock formations, remnants of volcanic activity that are perhaps reminiscent of an ancient collapsed citadel, with columns spewing plumes of sulfuric smoke. In Icelandic folklore the Dimmuborgir is said to connect earth with the infernal regions, and is the purported dwelling-place of elves, trolls, and Santa Claus/Father Christmas.

Norwegian melodic black metal band Dimmu Borgir took its name from this fortress.

Then don't go to either of the places. Just stop complaining all the time. It's not like you have to go to each location we add here.

Heh yea it's called Dimmuborgir, probably the most well known place inside Dimmuborgir would be "Kirkjan" translates "Church" a.k.a "Djöflakirkjan" translates "Devil Church" or "Demon Church" you get the picture.....people believed that if you walked through what looks like a Gothic style church door opening at mid-summers night (I think that what it's called in English) you'd disappear.....in almost all of our (Icelandic) stories about the area, that area (The Dimmuborgir area) is depicted as being evil, or as the source of evil.

It seems that this is quite an interesting place/location of a nature. Of course, Iceland is generally very beautiful country, when you look to all the mother nature of Iceland
