Tech death metallers Allegaeon have officially announced their new frontman. The Americans just completed over a month's worth of touring with label-mates Act Of Defiance, which featured Riley McShane on the microphone for his first full tour with the band. Upon returning home, Allegaeon is prepared to announce McShane as their new permanent vocalist. Ezra Haynes, their vocalist of seven years, quit the band this year. Riley has become a permanent member just in time for the band to begin work on their new album. Allegaeon is set to record a new album this winter to follow Elements Of The Infinite.

The tech death metal group has released their new album Elements Of The Infinite this year and now launches a brand new video for the tune "Threshold Of Perception". The band shot and edited the video themselves, with vocalist Ezra Haynes serving as the clip's director. Death metal heavyweights Cannibal Corpse just announced their return to Europe this fall. This will be their first European tour in support of their new, yet untitled album due for release later this year via Metal Blade Records. New label mates Revocation have been confirmed as direct support while Swedish death metal horde Aeon - also on Metal Blade Records - have been slotted as the opening band. You will be able to listen to some new songs on this tour.
The follow-up to Formshifter is taking shape. The tech death metallers Allegaeon have entered the studio and once again returned to Flatline Audio with producer Dave Otero (Cattle Decapitation, Cephalic Carnage). This is the third time the band has worked with Otero, who previously worked with the band for their self-titled EP, and their Metal Blade debut, Fragments Of Form And Function. New music and art will be made available as they are finalized, and fans can keep up with the band's updates from the studio on their Facebook page.

Colorado tech death metallers Allegaeon have plenty of news to share. The group will be giving fans one last chance to see them live before they return to the studio to record their third full-length album and follow-up to Formshifter. The new tour is scheduled to begin on December 1st and concludes on December 21st, with dates throughout Texas, the west coast, and the Pacific Northwest. Additionally, Allegaeon has also announced that guitarist Michael Stancel will be joining the band full time. While in writing mode, Stancel and Allegaeon have been collaborating on new songs. So, new tour, new album and new guitarist!
