Darkest Hour - To Record New Album In September

Darkest Hour have some good news regarding their new album! They have secured producer, Kurt Ballou (Converge, High On Fire) to come on board and produce/record their 9th studio album. The U.S. metallers will be recording at his very own GodCity studios in Massachusetts this September. The band completed a crowdfunding campaign for this new album and exceeded its initial goal of $50,000 by nearly $20,000.

Darkest Hour - Announce 20th Anniversary Tours

Yes, 2015 is a special year for Darkest Hour as the band is celebrating their 20th anniversary. To do it in style, they have announced two tours for the next few months. First, the North American tour where Darkest Hour will be playing the album Undoing Ruin in its entirety, also featuring special guests Dead To Fall. Before that, they are doing some anniversary shows in Europe too but only some of them will get the special set list.

The album was recorded at Oceanic Recording with producer Taylor Larson. This is the band's eighth studio album and their first with new bassist Aaron Deal (ex-Salome) and new drummer Travis Orbin, and it will be their first album for Sumerian Records.
