The Americans Death Fetishist have unveiled the cover art that will grace their forthcoming full-length Clandestine Sacrament, which was crafted by Polish artist Andrzej Masianis. Check it out below. You can expect the album to hit stores on October 28th via Debemur Morti Productions. Clandestine Sacrament will also include guest appearances by D.G. (Misþyrming), Doug Moore (Pyrrhon), Jürgen Bartsch (Bethlehem) and Mories (Gnaw Their Tongues).
Peaceville Records will release the 10th anniversary edition of SikTh's opus Death Of A Dead Day on double heavyweight LP and CD. Following the release on Peaceville of their mini album Opacities, their first new music since their acclaimed 2006 sophomore album Death Of A Dead Day, Peaceville will be re-releasing the album on the 10th anniversary of its original release on 30th September 2016.
Heavydeath, a Swedish hybrid death/doom metal band, will bring to us the new album, In Circles We Die, on November 25th through Iron Bonehead Productions. Swedish death doomsters Heavydeath have shared samples from songs on their upcoming second full length album, In Circles We Die, which will be out in November 2016. The record was recorded during a few sessions in April and June 2016 by Nicklas Rudolfsson, Johan Bäckman and Daniel Moilanen. It was produced by Nicklas Rudolfsson and Johan Bäckman, mixed by Johan Bäckman and mastered at Sonic Train Studios by Andy La Rocque. More details regarding the album are expected soon.
Five Finger Death Punch just released a new video! It's for their next single "I Apologize". Taken from their sixth studio album, Got Your Six, the clip follows Ivan Moody through a cemetery housing deceased rock icons, ranging from Elvis to Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse to Jimi Hendrix. The clip was shot at Los Angeles' famed Angelus Rosedale Cemetery with Nathan Cox directing the band-conceived storyline.
Barely a month after this year's Maryland Deathfest ended, the organizers already announced the first batch of bands for the 2017 edition. This will be the 15th Anniversary of Maryland Deathfest and we assume the quality of bands will be nothing but spectacular.
Filter were scheduled to perform at Sticky Fingers in Gothenburg Monday night (June 13th) but they claimed that the group was forced to cancel the concert after receiving death threats. Filter called off the performance just hours before taking the stage, while on tour with Combichrist. However, a representative for the club says that the band called off the show after one of the bandmembers was caught smoking inside the venue.
Currently touring in Europe to showcase their new album The Book Of Souls to their fans, Iron Maiden have also released a live video from the tour. The British metallers chose "Death Or Glory" and recorded their performance live from The Book Of Souls World Tour. See the end result here.

Italy's Cadaveria have announced that they are recording an EP alongside fellow Italians Necrodeath. As stated on their website and Facebook page, a year and a half after the release of their latest album Silence, horror metallers Cadaveria have entered the recording studios to work on the production of an EP.
Thrashers Death Angel continue to promote their new album, The Evil Divide, and have shared another new song online from it. While previously they offered us "The Moth", now it's "Hatred United, United Hate". Watch here the video for this track. The song features a ripping solo by Andreas Kisser of Sepultura.
More battles in court! Prospect Park Records has thrown a punch. Five Finger Death Punch are being sued by the label claiming that they failed to record a greatest hits album and a new record, according to Courthouse News Service. A record producer claims, among other things, that three members of the band are "shamelessly attempting to cash in before the anticipated downfall of their addicted bandmate."
After more than two decades, thrashers Demolition Hammer are back and will be doing some shows. In fact, their two shows at St. Vitus sold out, in under 3 minutes. However, fans will also be able to witness the band playing live again at 2016 Maryland Deathfest in Baltimore. They will be playing on Sunday, May 29th at Edison Lot.
