18:18 - Alex Lemon Glad to see you added Desire's sophomore release as opposed to their debut. While I enjoy both, their second full length is their best imo
18:12 - EMols86 [link] So I just added Arcturus, Desire, Disillusion, Nocturnus and Shape Of Despair albums to my list. Definitely an improvement.

15:56 - Apothecary I love the punk feel of this, like Kvelertak on PCP [link]
15:52 - EMols86 @Jaeryd17 that's pretty cool (and insane if it were real), but I've heard of that concept before. @huascaman probably in the top 20 of best movies I've ever seen (for the record, I've seen 1200+ movies :P).
15:27 - Apothecary @huascaman you guys "get medieval on dat ass"?

This joyful event that occurred also included a promise of future updates. Now here is one: Esoteric's forthcoming sixth album is entitled Paragon Of Dissonance and it will be released somewhere in mid-November as a 2-disc set, like most of Esoteric's previous albums. More details in September.
UK metallers Esoteric have issued the following update on their MySpace blog:
"We, Esoteric are currently looking for a replacement for our third guitarist, Kris Clayton who departed from the band earlier this year and also require a replacement for our keyboard player, Olivier Goyet who recently moved back to his homeland, France.
Experience and own equipment are a necessity. The band has been in existence since July 1992 and is currently writing material for the sixth album.
Token from the official Seasons Of Mist Newsletter:
British Doom metallers Esoteric welcome new drummer Joe Fletcher to the band. After 18 months, the guys have finally found someone suitably talented and disturbed to join them. Esoteric look forward to working with him both live and in the studio.
Alongside this comes the news that the band is looking for a third guitarist following the recent departure of Steve Peters. Please not that Esoteric is based in the Birmingham area of the West Midlands, UK, and that experience and dedication are essential. You can contact the band through www.myspace.com/esotericuk or greg@sinistrous.demon.co.uk
Esoteric have nearly completed writing and arranging their fifth album. So far there are over 100 minutes of material and the band hopes to enter the studio in the next month or two, so you can expect a possible double album for a late 2007 release.
