11:37 - Cynic Metalhead IGI, wow playing after long time. it's stella to enter the room, operate the laptop and fucking explode the whole thing.
07:02 - Jaeryd17 I'm desperately hoping they release Destiny for PC, but I have a 360 so if they don't I guess I'll be okay... for the first game in the series, anyway. Still haven't played Mirror's Edge, but it sounds like my kind of game.
06:04 - Maco The consoles war in the new generation is here [link]
05:59 - Maco At least playing fallout or battlefield is better than playing new call of duty games.
05:56 - BoxCar Willy All I play is fallout, with the occasional bout of grand theft auto and battle field.
05:42 - Maco @Lit. It has to be, that game was the shit.
05:21 - Lit. @Maco Don't care much for MK, but Mirror's Edge is taking the position for my most anticipated game.
Progressive metallers Extol have been away from studio releases since their last The Blueprint Dives album from 2005. But they return this year with a new offering, the self-titled Extol. Their new music video for "A Gift Beyond Human Reach" was released today so don't waste this opportunity to listen to new material from the Norwegian band. It was directed by Åsmund Janøy.
Extol have announced that they have signed a record deal with Norwegian label Indie Recordings. Their new self-titled album Extol will be released through Indie Recordings in Europe and through Facedown Records in North America. The release dates are June 21st in Norway/Germany/Austria, June 24th in Europe/rest of the world and June 25th in North America. The other good news is that you can already listen to the new single "Open The Gates" right here.
After a five-year hiatus, Norwegian metallers Extol are working on a follow-up to 2005's The Blueprint Dives. The rejuvenated band currently features the return of guitarist Ole Børud, who departed the band in 2004, along with drummer David Husvik and vocalist Peter Espevoll.
We're finished shooting the "pearl" video! It took us two days to get things right,- and it was just like the "24" series! The guys in Helmet Productions didn't sleep for like 48 hours, only working and working to get what they wanted! The locations were awesome,- really dark and spooky... But, it's probably the coldest experiences we've ever had!! It was snowing, and we were only wearing t-shirts... We are used to snow here in Norway, but this was like the Northpole! We had a an actress who stayed in ice-cold water for like 3 hours straight! We hope she didn't get sick!! The video is supposed to be finished in the beginning of January. We'll keep you updated!
"Featuring DAVID HUSVIK (Extol), CHRISTER ESPEVOLL (ex-Extol),
MAGNUS WESTGAARD (Vardoger) and IVAR NIKOLAISEN (Silver), this psycho-thrash
release packed with punk energy and great musicianship will be highly treasured by
fans to bands like Believer, Extol, Death and Cynic.
Recorded & Mixed at Top Room Studios Norway by Borge Finstad

The new guitarists for Extol are Tor Glidje (Lengsel, Ganglión) and Ole Halvard Sveen (Lengsel, Ganglión).
Also the band is currently in Denmark, mixing the album.
"On Monday the 2nd of August we enter Toproom Studio to record our fourth full-length album, bearing the working-title GLORIANA. As many of you may know, this is the same studio we used for SYNERGY and so we´re once again looking forward to work with Herr Børge Finstad. The new material demands a different sound approach than the detailed SYNERGY concept. In order to create a heavier and more atmospheric Extol sound, we will bring the recorded material from Toproom to Antfarm Studio (the Haunted, Heaven Shall Burn, Hatesphere) in Aarhus, Denmark to mix it there. We will do our best to keep you updated on the recording-process the next couple of weeks, posting pictures and news on the Extol website.
