18:34 - mz I think King Crimson ( at least the two albums which I've heard from them) are metalish, especially on red.
18:31 - .starrk @Marcel: sure they do. They are pretty strongly psychedelic/acid rock, which is often quite similar to and difficult to distinguish from stoner rock.
18:25 - Marcel Hubregtse but a band such as Electric Moon doesn't have anythgin to do with stoner at all
18:18 - LICH my school is beside phil lynotts grave, i visit often :P
18:10 - Apothecary I'm just saying, it kinda goes along with the whole stoner doom thing (ALERT CORRECT ME NOW!), not to mention the line between stoner rock and stoner metal is about as sketchy as hard rock/heavy metal anyway.
18:10 - Fritillaria if we could find out who added King Crimson ,then we could ask him/her about it.
18:02 - Marcel Hubregtse that still has me puzzled as well hahaha

Thanks to everyone that I've had a chance to work with and a huge thank you to all the passionate and loyal fans that I had the honor to meet over the years. Buy The Cold! Flots out."

Vocalist Eric AK of the legendary Flotsam & Jetsam has joined The Human Condition.
The Human Condition performed a surprise five song set at the Nino Notaro Memorial Concert on Feb, 20th at Club Stratus in Phoenix, Arizona. It had been a well kept secret that guitarist Wiley Arnett (Sacred Reich) and Eric (Flotsam & Jetsam) had joined forces.
Flotsam & Jetsam were scheduled to share a stage with Sacred Reich for the first time in nearly 18 years, about 1,500 of Arizona's core metal family members all came together to celebrate the life of Nino Notaro. For the unenlightened, Nino was an amazingly talented sound engineer that worked with both bands over the years. The event raised money for Nino's daughter "Sophie'" to start an education fund. THC felt it would be cool to debut the new line up at this special event.

Flotsam & Jetsam guitarist Mark Simpson has issued the following update on the band's website:
"The Title of the new record is "The Cold". Travis Smith is once again going to do the cover, which we are extremely excited about because of his amazing skill and vision. The cover will also feature the debut of an up and coming new talent.
Some song titles are: "Black Cloud", "Secret Life", "Hypocrite", "Falling Short", "Take" and "I'll beat the fuck out of you". OK, that last one is not a title but it's close. 10 songs - ALL Brutal, ALL Killer, NO Filler!! We are currently finishing up guitars and starting on vocals. Still hopeful for a release in the first quarter of next year and to do as many shows as possible in support.
