In Flames have entered the next phase of their new album, namely the recording process. The Swedes have just arrived at Hansa Studios in Berlin to record the follow-up to the gold-selling Sounds Of A Playground Fading from 2011. The recording of the band's eleventh album will continue throughout the year, and in the spring of 2014, we will have the chance to hear the result of their hard work.
In Flames have released a brand video for the title track of their latest album Sounds Of A Playground Fading. The video, that is made of footage from the band's recent live shows, was produced by Patric Ullaeus. The Swedes are currently working on new material, but for now, while you wait, you can enjoy this video below.
It turns out that the jester racers In Flames have more than just a comic book coming up. The writing sessions for the new album have begun and you can probably expect to hear it next year. The Swedish band is working on the follow-up to Sounds Of A Playground Fading (2011). What would you like to see the band try on the next album?
Guitarist Niclas Engelin of Swedish metallers In Flames will sit out a few of the band's shows this summer. His temporary replacement for those gigs will be Patrik Jensen from The Haunted. The band will play a series of festivals this summer.
Swedish metallers In Flames have some interesting news for us today. First of all, the band has premiered a new video for their song "Ropes" taken from Sounds Of A Playground Fading, their latest album released in 2011. The video was made entirely by In Flames fans as part of the project "Making of Ropes" and edited by Erik Engstrand. Take a look at the result below.
After the North American tour supporting Lamb Of God, In Flames will trek across America once again, this time as headliners on their Another Year Another Tour in 2013. The tour kicks off on February 2nd in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Demon Hunter, All Shall Perish, and Battlecross will provide support. The dates of the first part of the tour can be seen below. More should be announced soon.
Groove thrash metallers Lamb Of God have announced via their official website that the band will tour the US with In Flames as direct support. Hatebreed will join these bands from October 30th until November 19th at which point Hellyeah will replace them for the remainder of the shows. Sylosis will open all dates. The clip was filmed a few weeks ago at the Göteborgshjulet (The Wheel of Gothenburg) in Gothenburg, Sweden with director Patric Ullaeus of Revolver Film Company.
"Deliver Us", comes off the band's upcoming new album Sounds Of A Playground Fading, which will be released in June worldwide through Century Media Records. More album details were previously reported over here.
