After introducing their new drummer Joe Rickard, In Flames have now shared more news. Firstly, the Swedes announced a new North American tour where they will be joined by Hellyeah. This co-headline tour is called Forged In Fire Tour. In Flames also premiered the music video for their first single "The End" off of Battles. Sweden's In Flames have announced the first tour dates for their upcoming studio release. In January 2017, the band will embark on a tour of major UK arenas together with Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed in England, Scotland and Wales. Apart from their next DVD Sounds From The Heart Of Gothenburg scheduled for release on September 23rd, the band has premiered an exclusive preview of new music from their forthcoming album. The Swedish metallers have joined Nuclear Blast and their first release on the label will be Sounds From The Heart Of Gothenburg, later this year. The set was filmed on November 6th, 2014 at Hovet in Stockholm and November 7th, 2014 at Scandinavium in Gothenburg, Sweden in support of their latest album, Siren Charms.

Now, vocalist Anders Fridén has confirmed that the band is working on album number 12 and has been recording new material. Swedish metallers In Flames have cancelled their show in Nancy, France in the wake of the tragedy in Paris. After the terror acts at Le Bataclan during an Eagles Of Death Metal show as well as attacks in other locations, the band didn't perform yesterday but will return today in Pratteln, Switzerland.
In Flames have lost another long-time member of the group. Drummer Daniel Svensson quits the Swedish band to spend more time with his family. The metallers are currently touring in Europe and that will be his final tour. He will dedicate himself to a brewery soon and focus on his family life. Who will be the new guy behind the drumkit? The band will return to North America and play 21 full headline shows in February and March in support of the newest record Siren Charms. The trek starts on February 20th in Santa Ana, California and wraps on March 18th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The band is filming the release on the last shows of the tour in November in Stockholm and Gothenburg, Sweden. It's been 9 years since their last DVD was released, which was Used And Abused... In Live We Trust.
Strasbourg's concert venue La Laiterie has announced the cancellation of several upcoming shows, scheduled from 09/10 to 22/10. Those include one of the two French dates of Accept's 2014 tour, one of the French dates of In Flames' 2014 European tour and one of the French dates of Anathema's 2014 European tour. The findings of a recent security inspection pointed out a potential safety hazard in the main concert hall. As a consequence, the city of Strasbourg - the owner - decided to temporarily shut down the place pending its return to compliance with the regulatory requirements.
