21:04 - Zaphod Erik, it's all important, doesn't mean I have to like it. I like the creativity, calculations are just a thing that you have to do and you do it and it's done :P. Fritillaria, I hated high school for sure
21:04 - Fritillaria Yeah Erik I meant High School, I hated everything about my high school all the lessons there, pff! Erik no once he said he had a girlfriend, job and als he was studying so he has no more time for MS.
21:02 - E.Mols86 [link] He's dead? :P Cynic Metalhead, if good is equal to amazing, is bad then equal to mediocre? No offense, but this doesn't make any sense.
21:01 - mz high school was the best era of my life, I had a shitload of fun. Also, math is the best thing ever :p.
20:58 - Cynic Metalhead @Frit - I'm not talking to you. Keep your stupid language skills with your parents. Yeah, for me good is equal to amazing.
20:57 - E.Mols86 Zaphod, but isn't physics by far the most important part of calculations? Mary, but you're still in school, hahaha. Or do you mean only high school? Strangely enough, I didn't hate high school at all. Most of it I enjoyed.

But today we get to hear what he has been up to because "Agony" from the impending new release Impermanent Resonance has made its online premiere. Make sure you listen to the brand new song below.
Dream Theater's singer James LaBrie latest solo studio albums have proven to be solid progressive metal releases. Impermanent Resonance, as it will be called, shall be released on July 29th, 2013 in Europe and August 6th, 2013 in North America via InsideOut Music. The first sound samples will be revealed soon.

Ealier this month, we reported about James LaBrie's first solo headlining tour in five years. But now it seems he is forced to cancel the North American trek. The following statement was released regarding the cancellation:
"It is very difficult for what I am about to say. The Static Impulse Tour has been cancelled due to some unfortunate, unforeseen difficulties with securing work visas for a couple of the guys. It would be virtually impossible for us to have these visas processed on time to begin the tour let alone the rehearsals which were scheduled for the week prior to the first show.
I don't know what to say other than we are all in shock and can only hope we can make this a reality at some point in the near future. I am really sorry to everyone who has gone out and purchased the meet and greets and show tickets. This totally sucks and I'm sure you're all quite upset and have every right to be. I can only ask for your understanding and forgiveness and assure you that when we are in a position (hopefully in the near future) to tour all of this will have been taken care of well in advance or it just won't happen."
On the heels of the release of his latest opus, Static Impulse, James LaBrie has finally announced his return to the stage as a solo artist and will embark on a North American tour this winter! The Dream Theater vocalist has released two releases in a side project dubbed Mullmuzzler and two solo releases including 2005's Elements of Persuasion and the latest masterpiece Static Impulse which was released last week via InsideOut Music.
LaBrie comments: "Matt, Marco, Peter, Ray and I are extremely psyched to announce a tour in support of the new album Static Impulse. Everyone that played on the disc will be on stage. This is going to be a very powerful and memorable evening. Just us and the fans doing what we both love doing. You will hear songs from MullMuzzler 2, Elements of Persuasion and of course the latest, Static Impulse. Come out and support this US/ Canada tour and let's have a blast. We will hit you like a sledgehammer, but I promise it won't hurt... See you out there. Goooooooooo!"

"I thought it would be of interest to know a little more of how it was possible to finally record the TSR project.
Dirk Ulrich (Mastermind and Producer) and I spoke almost 6 years ago about the possibility of doing such a project and at the time it was supposed to be 3 rock tenors. By the way the acronym TSR is: True Symphonic Rockestra. Anyway to really see this thing through meant first and foremost finding and deciding on the singers and 3 that would blend well. Secondly, a label that shared our vision and enthusiasm.
I am extremely stoked about this recording and cannot wait for everyone to finally hear it. Dirk will begin the mix at MarinSound Studios in Krasnodar, Russia June 24th. We will keep you posted and let you know when the official TSR site is up."
Dream Theater's Singer James Labrie posted the following message on his official forum:
Yes the rumor is true. I have been in contact with Dirk Ulrich and we have agreed to do this album which will be incredible to say the least.
I do know who the other singer is but won't say at this point. I will wait until everything is official and all legalities have been dealt with.
All I can say is this individual is very well known and one of the top opera stars of today.
Great seeing you out on tour. We are having a blast and the shows have been fantastic.
