Kvelertak break their silence with a bang! The band has just announced their new self-produced album and debuted a song as well. Their third album Nattesferd ("Night Traveller") will be released on May 13th via Roadrunner Records. But the good news continues. The first taste from the record comes in the form of a dystopian anthem titled "1985", and this tune will be available from your usual digital outlets on Friday. Until then, you can spin the tune below as much as you feel like it.

The band is pleased to announce the confirmation of headlining North American tour dates for this October/November. Norwegian metallers Kvelertak have announced that they will be gracing Australian shores this coming September. This will be the band's first ever Australian headlining tour, having taken to the Soundwave and Sidewave stages in 2012. The band has confirmed five shows and you can see the dates below.
Kvelertak's drummer Kjetil Gjermundrød will have to sit out the band's upcoming North American shows following an arm injury. He has returned to Norway to get treatment and in the meantime Jay Weinberg will be touring with the band in support of their new album Meir.
Kvelertak have released a brand new official video for their self-titled track and is now available for viewing below. The videoclip was directed by Stian Andersen and edited by Erik Treimann. It was filmed during the band's recently finished European tour, at several different locations - London, Paris, Cologne and Oslo.

The Norwegian band Kvelertak, acclaimed for their blend of black metal and hardcore punk on their eponymous debut album, have just announced the release of the first single for their upcoming album Meir. The single "Bruane Brenn" is available on iTunes since yesterday in all of Scandinavia, and it will come out on January 28th in the rest of the world.
