While the release of the new Luca Turilli's Rhapsody album has been postponed, the symphonic metallers are currently at the Backyard Studios of Kempten (Germany) to end the recordings of the new upcoming record entitled Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus. While the recordings are being completed, new details have been revealed about this new output.
Seems like we'll have to wait a little longer for the next Luca Turilli's Rhapsody album, since Prometheus - Symphonia Ignis Divinus has been postponed some months. The decision was made by the band and the label, Nuclear Blast, in order to showcase better what, according to Markus Wosgien, Nuclear Blast's head of promotion, is going to be "nothing else than a real masterpiece."
In the recent months, Italian guitarist and composer Luca Turilli started, on Luca Turilli's Rhapsodyofficial Facebook page, a "Guess What?" feature, in which he answers to some of the fans' questions. This time, Luca decided to reveal what fans asked about his whole career: the hidden meaning behind the lyrics of the two Rhapsody(s), and some very intimate details of his personal life, calling all this "The Secret Revealed" and creating an image specially for it.
This is the kind of news everybody wants to read about. Dominique Leurquin, Luca Turilli's Rhapsody's guitarist, finally recovered from the terrible hand injury caused by a circular saw. Some days ago, he shared the stage with bassist Patrice Guers with his cover band (see pic below) and he will return playing live with Luca Turilli's Rhapsody at the festival of Hodonin in Czech Republic on August 15th, 2014.

Luca Turilli's Rhapsody have announced that their new album will be released in June/July 2014 by Nuclear Blast Records. Once again it will be produced by Luca Turilli and it will be recorded and mixed by Sebastian Roeder at the Backyard Studios of Kempten (Germany).
Luca Turilli's Rhapsody have announced a special long-term collaboration with the Czech conductor Petr Pololanik and his Capellen Orchestra & Choir. This collaboration will take form on the band's next album, planned to be released by Nuclear Blast in the late spring of 2014 as well as special live events.
Symphonic power metal act Luca Turilli's Rhapsody has premiered a new music video for the song "Clash Of The Titans". The "Walking Dead Remix" version was directed, edited and filmed by Owe Lingvall (who also created the band's first video for "Dark Fate Of Atlantis") with animations by Magnus Jonsson. The band released three new tracks, namely "Clash Of The Titans", "Tormento E Passione" and "March Of Time", which are now available for streaming at this location. All the songs come from Ascending To Infinity, which came out in Europe on June 22nd and is scheduled for North American release on July 3rd via Nuclear Blast.

Luca Turilli's Rhapsody have announced Alex Landenburg as the band's new drummer. Landenburg will be taking over kit duties from Alex Holzwarth. The band posted a video introducing the drummer.
Alex stated: "What an amazing opportunity to join the band together with new singer Alessandro Conti and to start this new chapter together! I can't wait to get out on the road and to play the new stuff as well as the Rhapsody classics!"
Alessandro Conti has been revealed as the singer of Luca Turilli's Rhapsody. The band released a video featuring excerpts from the upcoming album and issued this statement: "Hi to all, today, March 30th 2012, is a great and very important day for our band. We are finally proud to present the new singer of LT'S Rhapsody to the world, the person who, thanks to his unique vocal talent, will contribute to the artistic perspectives of the band in the years to come. The secret is finally revealed: the new singer is Italian and his name is Alessandro Conti."
