This five-song album, reportedly 39 minutes long, includes contributions by current Ministry and former Soulfly drummer Roy Mayorga, and a Jesse Nieminen-directed music video for the album's lead single "Working The Ditch" which can be streamed below.

Sludge metal legends the Melvins put out two albums last year, Working With God and Five Legged Dog, but they don't seem to be slowing down too soon as drummer Dale Crover recently told WV Music that a new full-length record is in the works and will be released either later this year or next year. He also said that the record will include at least one guest appearance, from Dylan Carlson of Earth.

The group is releasing Pinkus Abortion Technician on April 20th via Ipecac Recordings, featuring both ongoing bass player Steven McDonald (Redd Kross, OFF!) and Butthole Surfers Jeff Pinkus on bass. Californian metallers Melvins are pleased to announce that they are returning with their upcoming new album, Hold It In, to be released on October 14th via Ipecac Recordings. This will be the band's first studio album as a quartet since 2010's The Bride Screams Murder. Joining Buzz Osborne and Dale Crover for the 12-song outing are Butthole Surfers' guitar player Paul Leary and bass player JD Pinkus. Hold It In was recorded in both Los Angeles, CA and Austin, TX earlier this year.
