The Finns Mors Principium Est have just revealed the cover that will grace their new album. Titled Embers Of A Dying World, the opus features artwork painted by the always busy Eliran Kantor (Testament, Iced Earth, Sodom). The album will be out on February 10th via AFM Records! Finnish melodic death metallers Mors Principium Est have been recording their new album. The band has now shared the first studio diary, with a glimpse into some of the new songs. Once again, the studio diary is fun and crazy. According to the band, the new album is to be called Embers Of A Dying World and will be released in early 2017.
Guitarist Kevin Verlay is no longer in Mors Principium Est. The Finns announced that he left for personal reasons. His stint in the group was short. Verlay toured with the band in 2013 and joined officially in 2014. He now departs and Mors Principium Est say that they will look for a new guitarist in due time. Meanwhile, they will focus on the songwriting process for their next album.

The Finns Mors Principium Est are pleased to announce the release of their fifth studio album, to be entitled Dawn Of The 5th Era. These representatives of the gothenburg metal scene have set November 19th (Japan) and December 5th (Europe) as the official release dates via AFM Records of this upcoming new effort. Finnish Gothenburg metal act Mors Principium Est are streaming their new album ...And Death Said Live in its entirety. While the album is already available in Japan, it will be released on December 14th in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, and will be released in North America on January 15th. It will be released in December 2012, via AFM Records (Europe/USA), Marquee/Avalon (Japan/Asia) and Truth Inc Records (Australia). Truth Inc Records Australia have signed melodic death/thrash act Mors Principium Est from Finland. The label will be releasing the band's forthcoming new album in December throughout Australia. The band previously signed with the German label AFM Records for Europe and the US. The Marquee Records/Avalon label will release their new album in Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
Finnish melodic death metal band Mors Principium Est have inked a deal with AFM Records and plan to enter the studio this summer to record the follow-up to 2007's album Liberation = Termination, to be released at the end of the year.
Finnish metal band Mors Principium Est has announced that Andhe Chandler has now joined the band as a second guitarist.
The band posted the following short statement about acquiring a second guitar player to the group ranks: "Allrighty! Finally it did happen. We found the second guitar player! And the new guy is Andhe Chandler from New Zealand. Yes, New Zealand is pretty far, but don't worry, it will not affect our gigs in the future. Now we can concentrate on the new material with full force!"
Finland melodic death metal band Mors Principium Est has made a 1:20 sample/teaser of a new song available for streaming online over at the band's MySpace.
Commented the band: "A lot of you have been asking how are things going and do we already have something new done. Well, things are going quite smoothly and we thought that, what if we upload one short, a bit over 1 min long, demo sample/teaser from one of our new songs for you guys to listen to."

Anyways. If we still want to continue with Mors Principium Est, we need new guitar players. This is our LAST try to make things happen. If it does not work this time, or we don't find the right person/persons, then it's game over for Mors Principium Est.
