Omnium Gatherum have finally revealed all about their new album. While previously fans got to hear a new single called "Skyline", the Finns have now revealed the details of Beyond's successor. The melodic death metallers will release Grey Heavens on February 26th, 2016 in Europe (19th of February in Finland) through Lifeforce Records. The record features 10 new songs. Insomnium Gatherum is happening! The two Finnish bands, Insomnium and Omnium Gatherum, are joining forces for a 7" split. The melodic death metallers will soon tour in North America together. This release is "double A-sided" (meaning, each band has their own front cover side) and contains one track from Insomnium, "Out To The Sea" (which previously appeared on the now sold-out Shadows Of The Dying Sun deluxe CD box-set edition), and one track from Omnium Gatherum, "Skyline" (which will appear on the band's new album due out February 2016).
In February of 2015, in association with Zero Tolerance Magazine, Finnish melodic death metallers Omnium Gatherum will embark on the Beyond UK Tour, their second ever headlining tour in the UK. Joining them on the road will be UK progressive death metal titans De Profundis. Finnish melodic death metal band Omnium Gatherum revealed the following announcement about recruiting a new bassist: "We're glad to finally make it official and announce that OG is a real 6-piece troop again - we welcome Erkki Silvennoinen as a new bass player to Omnium Gatherum. Erkki is a die-hard pro dude with a warm nice attitude, just the way we like it, and we know him well from sharing same stages than us since almost ten years ago. He used to play in Amoral as well as in Finnish Idols winner Ari Koivunen's band back in the day. At the moment he is also playing in awesome brutal tech death metal band De Lirium's Order."
