There are a few changes happening in Primal Fear. Brazilian drummer Aquiles Priester, who joined the power metallers just last year is now out of the band. Who will replace him? Francesco Jovino. After 10 years behind the drums for U.D.O., Francesco joins Primal Fear. And also founding member Tom Naumann joins the band as an official member! After two years touring with Primal Fear, Tom is now back as a full member. Magnus Karlsson will remain a member of the band and will co-write the new album of the band.

According to Primal Fear, the show will be in memory of former Sinner drummer Ralf Schulz who died in March this year. German power metal act Primal Fear announced that the band has split with drummer Randy Black due to irreconcilable differences between him and vocalist Ralf Scheepers. Black will perform with the band at the Summer Breeze Festival this weekend and then immediately be relieved of duties. Black joined the band in 2003 and performed on the last six studio releases dating back to 2004's Devil's Ground.
