After announcing their new line-up recently (the addition of new vocalist Giacomo Voli and drummer Manu Lotter), Italian symphonic power metal kings Rhapsody Of Fire are now working on their upcoming release, which will be a 75 minutes long album revisiting a selection of songs written and produced during the 5 first years of the Rhapsody Era (1997-2002). 14 epic tracks completely re-recorded! All drums, bass, guitars, keyboards, vocals, epic choirs, opera choirs, and numerous classical instruments have been recorded already.

Drummer Alex Holzwarth left Rhapsody Of Fire shortly after singer Fabio Lione recently and both will be part of the Rhapsody 20th Anniversary Farewell Tour. Rhapsody Of Fire - Fabio Lione Quits The Band

The last we've heard of Rhapsody Of Fire, they had cancelled a show in Tel Aviv, Israel in August reportedly due to internal struggles within the band. It seems like they were having issues behind the scenes and now long-time vocalist Fabio Lione just announced that he quit the band. Why? The Italian singer didn't really say much about it but he is focusing on other projects.

Rhapsody Of Fire - Cancelled The Show In Tel Aviv, Internal Struggles

Italian power metal veterans Rhapsody Of Fire were supposed to perform in Tel Aviv, Israel (at Havana Club) on August 3rd infront of 300 fans, after cancelling the original date, July 10th, but that show appearantly isn't going to happen either. ProgStage Productions, originizers of the concert, were reluctant and were forced to announce its cancellation.
