"Back On Trail", the new video from German heavy rockers Sinner, can be seen below. The clip was filmed in Nürnberg, Germany.
"Back On Trail" comes off Sinner's new album, One Bullet Left, which is scheduled for release on September 9 via AFM Records. The CD was recorded in Stuttgart, Germany with Mat Sinner producing and Achim Köhler engineering.
Guitarist Henny Wolter left both Primal Fear and Sinner yesterday. Wolter issued the following update on his MySpace:
"I have quit Primal Fear and Sinner because it just didn´t feel like a band anymore. I am looking forward to work with my buddies Klaus Sperling (drums in Sinnger, ex-Primal Fear, ex-Mystic Prophecy) and singer Oimel Larcher in my new band Nitrogods. It's a mean little threepiece and we are working on the debut album wich should be released in early 2011."
An official statement from the Primal Fear camp reads as follows:
"Online mags reporting the "news" after a blog posting from Henny today, that he's not a member of Primal Fear anymore. All we have to add - yes it's true and the split happened seven weeks ago. There was no reason for us to make a sensational headline or badmouth eachother. We feel sorry about this, but we have no more comments on the situation.
Sinner have issued the following update on their official MySpace:
"The final part of the recording saga of "Crash & Burn" was delivered to the record company over the weekend. The master of the Limited Edition, with two brandnew bonus tracks, the video clip for the song "Revolution" & the digipak desgin.
The final album contains 11 tracks and here's the tracklist:
01. Crash & Burn
02. Break The Silence
03. The Dog
04. Heart Of Darkness
05. Revolution
06. Unbreakable
07. Fist To Face
08. Until It Hurts
09. Little Head
10. Connection
11. Like A Rock
The album was produced by Mat Sinner & Henny Wolter @ The House Of Music studios and aside of the band, there are guest appearances by Dirty Sanchez (percussion), Dennis Ward (backing vocals & percussion & Nena (backing vocals). The Limited Edition will be delivered in a nice digipak and includes two bonus tracks "One Night Only" (written by Mat Sinner & Magnus Karlsson) and "Fast Decision 2008", yes THE Fast Decision - created under bizarre circumstances, as AFM Records A&R representant Markus & drummer Klaus forced Mat in the studio, to record a new version of the forgotten jewel again. Mat was irritated about their sick idea first, but after some shots of booze, Mat agreed to sing this song for one last time. Finally, we've added the funky video clip for the song "Revolution" to the Limited one.
The following message has been posted on the official Mat Sinner website:
"Well, we can announce one of the rare Sinner shows today and it's already around the corner. The band will appear on March 8th at the Komma, Esslingen/Germany to kick ass @ the 3rd ROW Festival, a now traditional and established charity festival, organized by some close friends incl. former Sinner drummer Ralf Schulz. Check out their website here!
In other news, the songwriting for Sinner's new album "Crash & Burn" is in full swing. A first songwriting session with Henny Wolter was unbelievable creative and we wrote some cool stuff, with a smile on our faces and a great foundation for more forthcoming sessions. Klaus & Christof are writing too at the moment. Next week, my friend Igor Gianola (UDO etc.) is coming to my studio, because we have some cool ideas for the new Sinner album and I'm writing with Ronny Milianowicz & company again. The target is loud & clear - the new Sinner album and the first for AFM Records will be a steaming, rocking and very traditional heavy rock album! We plan to start the recordings in late March for a September 2008 release! Later this month In addition, I will record some bass tracks for Alex Beyrodt's first solo album!
