Slough Feg haven't released new material since their last album Digital Resistance (2014) and it's about time for a new release. The San Francisco metal troubadours have rejoined Italy's Cruz Del Sur Music, the label behind the band's heralded Atavism (2005), Hardworlder (2007) and Ape Uprising (2009) albums. The new album will be called The New Organon and the recordings begin this month.

Addison Filipczyk, who is 25, will have big shoes to fill following in the wake of Harry Cantwell's departure, but after several months of rehearsal the group is confident that they are in capable hands and feet.

The band has confirmed that their drummer Harry Cantwell will be leaving the band after the July 28th show at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, CA. Harry has been part of Slough Feg for the last seven years and has contributed his share to the band's last four full-length releases.
