Soulfly just announced that they will embark on a North American headlining tour starting on September 30th in Los Angeles. The band will be supporting their upcoming vicious new release Archangel, which was produced by Matt Hyde (Slayer, Children Of Bodom) and will be released on August 14th via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. Joining them on this epic campaign are Swedish melodic death metal visionaries Soilwork, Polish technical death metallers Decapitated, and newcomers Shattered Sun. No word yet on who will replace bassist Tony Campos.
Fear Factory welcomes a new bassist. Tony Campos will be joining the band and leaving his gig with Soulfly. Campos is also known as the former bass guitarist of industrial metal band Static-X, Ministry and Prong. His new focus will now be Fear Factory, who are working a new album. His first show with the industrial metallers will be at Amnesia Rock Fest on June 20th.
Brazilian metallers Soulfly have just announced that follow up to 2013's album Savages is scheduled for release in August. In a recent interview, Max explained that it will be called Archangel, and it comes out in August on Nuclear Blast. And it's pretty much done. The music is all recorded and Max Cavalera only has to finish some vocals, then the mixing and artwork.

Apart from a new album from Soulfly, European fans now have new shows to look forward to as well since the group has announced European summer tour dates with support from Incite and Lody Kong. Soulfly recently signed a worldwide record deal with Nuclear Blast and are putting the finishing touches to the band's new release.
Soulfly just announced that they left their longtime home of Roadrunner Records and inked a deal with Nuclear Blast Entertainment, a new division of Nuclear Blast formed by Nuclear Blast owner Markus Staiger and former Roadrunner A&R chief Monte Conner. Soulfly will enter the studio this month to begin recording their yet-untitled ninth studio album. The record will be produced by Terry Date, who is known for his work with such bands as Pantera, Deftones and Soundgarden, among many others. You can expect a release tentatively in the fall of this year.
US metallers Wykked Wytch have been confirmed to take part in the Maximum Cavalera 15th Anniversary North American Tour with Soulfly, Incite and Lody Kong. The 24-city tour kicks off on April 13th in Colorado Springs, CO. Wykked Wytch is touring in support of their most recent album The Ultimate Deception, which was released on February 14th via Goomba Music.
