By now, you probably know that Soundgarden are about to release their long-awaited 3-CD rarities collection, Echo Of Miles: Scattered Tracks Across The Path on November 24th. Among the set's seven unreleased tracks is a brand new recording, "Storm," recorded in May this year with producer Jack Endino in Seattle, still available here. Drummer Matt Cameron of reunited grunge legends Soundgarden will sit out the band's upcoming live appearances in 2014 due to his commitments as a member of Pearl Jam. The band will soon reveal a temporary substitute but the tour dates are still on.

Reunited Seattle grunge legends Soundgarden have announced details of their new album King Animal, which will be released on November 13th, while the first single from the album, "Been Away Too Long", will be released digitally on September 27th. The band co-produced King Animal with Adam Kasper (Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Pearl Jam) and recorded at Studio X in Seattle. This will be the band's first studio album since 1996's Down On The Upside.
