01:50 - ScreamingSteelUS Yeah, that's weird. Aquilus isn't in the actual list, but it shows up in the mini-bar.
01:50 - Karlabos Oh, but if you click on <show more> the actual list appears, and then Aquilus isn't in. Honestly I dunno what does that simplified list of 10 has to do with the top 200 though. It's different.
Italian symphonic power metal act Thy Majestie is streaming the new song "Harbinger Of A New Dawn". You can enjoy it here. The track appears on the band's forthcoming album ShiHuangDi, which is scheduled for release on September 25th, 2012 through Scarlet Records.
Thy Majestie have posted the following update on their MySpace:
"Doesn't good come with bad? At least in case of Thy Majestie, it does… Bad news is that the release date of our new album is postponed until the 1st of September 2008.
Good news is that you can now listen to one song that will appear on "Dawn" on our page, or our label Dark Balance's MySpace page. "Day Of The Changes' will be premiering on these screens on Sunday 18th, at noon!
"Dawn" consists of seven full tracks divided into 3 chapters, plus "The Legacy Suite", a 16-minutes ride through Thy Majestie's style divided into five tracks, a small story worth noticing! The complete track list is:
"We are proud to announce that the 4th Thy Majestie full lenght has been completed. Recording, mixing and mastering are now finally over. We are ENTHUSIASTIC of the final result. We think (and we don't say that only because it's usual to say these things after a new album) that this is the best album Thy Majestie have ever recorded
Catchy melodies, amazing guitars and keyboards solos (thanks to the guitar hero Simone Campione and the virtuoso Valerio Castorino) and a great, stunning, unbelievable vocal performance by Dario Cascio, "DAWN" cover]is ready and will be released by Dark Balance Records in July the 2nd .
Thy Majestie will be headliners at FEAR DARK festivals in Holland in the end of May and we'll play at Stuttgard (Germany) in the 2nd of June"
Italian Symphonic Power metal outfit Thy Majestie have welcomed vocalist Dario Cascio and guitarist Simone Campione to their ranks. Simone Campione was already familiar to the band as a session musician from the beginning of this year and later also as a touring musician.
A statement from the band goes as follows: "The new two members, Dario Cascio and Simone Campione have been absolutely FANTASTIC! We are so pleased to have them in our team!
They brought us LIFE and new enthusiasm. THEY ARE OFFICIALLY IN THE BAND. We look forward to starting working on the new album!!!"
In other news, the band just returned from The Fear Dark Festival at The Netherlands. The band commented "The Fear Dark festival was a GREAT GREAT experience!!! We are all really excited about that!" Video footage was made available at their website for the songs 'The Chosen', 'The King And The Warrior' and 'Echoes Of War'.
Singer Dario Grillo has once again left the Italian Symphonic Power Metal band Thy Majestie.
"I won't attend the next few live shows with them and I won't record the new album," Dario writes on his web site. "I don't want to explain the reasons of the split 'cause I think nobody wants to know about bullshit, problems or controversies. I apologise to the fans who believed in the reunion and waited for another masterpiece like 'Hastings 1066', but the situation with the guys couldn't be managed in a civil way. So the main priority is Violet Sun, the new band led by singer Alessandra Amata, Alex Grillo on drums, Doctor Max on bass guitar and me the guitarist and keyboard player, producer and composer of the album. Stay tuned!!!"
Thy Majestie have posted the following message on their official website:
"We are really happy to announce that Dario Grillo (Thy Majestie's former singer) is again the singer of Thy Majestie! After many troubles it seems that now the line-up is stable. We have composed 6 new songs. A 7th is going to be composed. We hope to join the recording studio in the early 2007.
At the moment we don't know which label will release the album
Unfortunately the exeperience with a singer ih the USA didn't work. We wish the best of luck to Matt!
More news have to come, stay tuned!"
Italy's Thy Majestie have posted the following message on their official web site:

"We have a great news : we have a new singer!!!
It's Matt Aub, singer and guitar for Timelord, Matt sent us a demo of "Maiden of Steel" sung by him and... WOW, brilliant ! Great "heavy metal" voice.
So we decided to accept him, even if he lives thousand miles from us, in the U.S.A.
More news later on !"
Former singer Giulio Di Gregorio left the band last week due to personal reasons.
Thy Majetie decided to parted ways with singer Giulio Di Gregorio. The band commented: "There are a lot of personal reasons for this choice. But it had to be done.
It will be really difficult to find a replacement here in Sicily, so at the moment Thy Majestie's future is uncertain. We hope to come back soon with good news."
The band doesn't have any requirements more than being professional to fill in the position. "We have posted on our site a .Zip file with some mp3s of our latest album, if you think that you are a professional singer and you would like to join Thy Majestie please download the file from here : MP3s , add your voice and then send back the mp3 to our official address.
