Death metallers Vallenfyre only played a handful of selected shows since their inception in 2010. The good news is that now it's time to present Splinters, their new album, on a full tour across Europe. The tour starts with dates with their old mates Bolt Thrower and label mates Morgoth, and moves on to their own headlining shows in October. If you want to see the band live, check out this tour.

Death metallers Vallenfyre, featuring Gregor Mackintosh, songwriter and guitarist of Paradise Lost, alongside members of My Dying Bride, At The Gates and Doom, has entered GodCity Studio in Salem, Massachusetts with producer Kurt Ballou to begin recording their second album. It has also been confirmed that Splinters will be the album's title and Century Media Records will release it in May 2014.

The follow-up to Vallenfyre's debut album A Fragile King is in the works. If you were hoping for some more death metal from the British band, you got it because they are in writing mode. Vallenfyre has even revealed some tentative song titles to whet your appetite. The band is hoping to record the new album later this year and is currently looking at where they want to record it and with whom. The intention is to make it "dirtier than their debut".
