Austrian symphonic metal band Visions Of Atlantis has made available today a preview of their upcoming album Ethera, which means you can listen to samples from all of the new songs for the first time. Check it out below. Ethera will be out on March 22nd in Europe and April 9th in North America on Napalm Records.
Austrian symphonic metallers Visions Of Atlantis have finally unveiled that their new album Ethera will be out on March 22th in Europe and April 9th in North America. The album was produced and mixed by Frank Pitters and Jakob Grabmayr at the Wildonemusic Studios while the mastering has been done by Mika Jussila at the renowned Finnvox Studios. The tracklist and cover artwork can be seen below.

Austrian symphonic metallers Visions Of Atlantis have announced via Facebook that their new album will be titled Ethera. The band is currently in the studio recording it and plans to release it this year.
Austrian symphonic metal band Visions Of Atlantis has revealed the following update: "In deep mourning and with highest respect we have to notify all Visions Of Atlantis fans that our former female singer Nicole Bogner has passed away at the age of 27 after fighting a severe disease over a long period of time. The band is shocked about the loss of an old VoA-family member but wants to express sincere gratitude to Nicole not only for 5 years of sharing a musical Vision but also for more than a decade of friendship inside and outside of Visions Of Atlantis."
Mario Plank, Visions Of Atlantis' male singer, is forced to sit out the UK Tour dates with Leaves' Eyes due to voice and health problems. For that reason, the band will not play these UK shows. But fear not Metal Female Voices Fest fans, the band reckons he will be ok and will take part in the festival's ninth edition.
After streaming the first audio sample of their upcoming EP, Maria Magdalena, Visions Of Atlantis are now streaming two new audio samples from the tracks "Melancholia" and "Change Of Tides", respectively. Visions Of Atlantis have parted ways with bassist Mario Lochert (also in Emergency Gate), who only joined the band in May last year.
The word from the band reads as follows: "After some crucial internal differences Mario Lochert is no longer a member of Visions of Atlantis. For the upcoming shows we're already working with new session-members who will take over this position for now as the band is currently not looking for a new fix bassplayer! We're looking forward to meeting you all at the next shows."

Delta, the fourth studio album of Visions Of Atlantis, will be released on February 25, 2011 via Napalm Records.
The album was recorded at Dreamscape Studios in Munich, Germany and will mark the debut of Maxi Nil, the new vocalist who joined the band last year.
Songtitles announced so far include: "Aeon", "Memento", "Reflections", "Gravitate Towards Fatality", "New Dawn" and "Beyond Horizon - The Poem Pt. II".
Visions Of Atlantis have finished the recordings of their forthcoming yet-untitled album, the follow-up to 2007's Trinity. The band issued the following update:
"There is a lot going on in the VoA-camp at the moment and everyone's quite busy preparing for the upcoming aibum. One thing first: Recordings are finished. Everything is done!!! The Guys and Girl did a great job over the last months (yes, we where taking a lot of time for recording) and it was worth every single second of the Work as the result just sounds amazing!
So, what's the plan now?
Mixing and mastering are starting now and will be finished very soon. Also very soon we will tell the world the exact release date and of course album title. Also expect a complete new MySpace-design with album cover, new promo pics and more and more in November! At the moment the band is preparing the show for next week Metal Female Voices Fest VIII. Would be great meeting some of you there maybe!
