Hydra Vein - Reforms

Hydra Vein was a short-lived British thrash metal band that only released two albums, Rather Death Than False Of Faith in 1988 and After The Dream in 1989. Then in 1990 the band broke up but after 29 years they decided to reform. Hydra Vein will take a part in next year's Brofest.

Mötley Crüe - New Film Out In March

The first trailer for the film adaptation of Mötley Crüe's biography, "The Dirt", is available below. Due on March 22nd, the movie, which was helmed by "Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa" director Jeff Tremaine, was picked up by Netflix after being previously developed at Focus Features and before that at Paramount.

Borknagar - Part Ways With Vocalist 'Vintersorg'

Due to personal reasons, Andreas "Vintersorg" Hedlund has decided to step down as the lead vocalist of Borknagar. The decision is based on mutual understanding, respect and in a friendly manner with the rest of the band. Borknagar is currently in the final stages of recording their eleventh studio album. It will be mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studio this spring. An official release date will be dropped in near future.

Joe Satriani - Announce Compilation Of Unreleased Demos

A collection of previously unreleased demos by Joe Satriani's first band, The Squares, will be made available on April 5th, 2019 via his own Strange Beautiful Music imprint. The Squares featured Andy Milton (who passed away in 1999) on bass and vocals, Jeff Campitelli on drums and Satriani on guitar. Produced, recorded and mixed by John Cuniberti.

Emperor - To Perform In Australia This April

Norwegian black metal masters Emperor are very excited to announce exclusive Australian shows, scheduled for this coming spring. In the beginning of April, Emperor will execute one live appearance in Sydney and two in Melbourne (second gig added additionally). It seems that the band will perform Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk in its entirety, considering this tour being dubbed after it.
