Hexis - Releasing New Mini-Album This Year

Well, that was quick. Hexis have a new release ready to be unleashed. The Danish band just announced a new mini-album called XII, out September 29th via Moment Of Collapse Records (Germany), Division Records (Switzerland), Truthseeker Music (UK) and Crown & Throne Ltd. (US). XII is a 5-track effort and will be released on 10'' LP with CD.

Wolves In The Throne Room - New Song Online

Black metal outfit Wolves In The Throne Room are now streaming a new song entitled "Angrboda", taken from the upcoming new album, Thrice Woven, which will be out in stores on September 22nd via Artemisia Records. Oranssi Pazuzu - Cancel Appearance At Berlin Pop-Kultur Festival

Berlin's Pop-Kultur music festival is set to open today, but at least seven acts will be missing from the line-up due to a boycott over its acceptance of Israeli embassy funding. That includes Finnish black metallers Oranssi Pazuzu who state that the controversy over the festival's receipt of Israeli government funds "resulted in giving a political character to the festival and therefore to all the artists participating."

Ragecast - New Band Feat. Silent Voices And Winterborn Members Announced

Founding members of Silent Voices and Winterborn have just announced their new adventure, and it is the band Ragecast. The band originally teamed up to support Tim "Ripper" Owens for his shows around Czech Republic a few years ago, and now they have announced their debut EP, Heavy Metal Meltdown, which will feature Tim "Ripper" Owens ( Tim "Ripper" Owens, ex- Judas Priest), Mats Levén ( Candlemass, ex- At Vance) and Michael Vescera ( Vescera) on session lead vocals and Jukka Hänninen ( Winterborn) as their live keyboard player.

Dead Cross - Mike Patton Involved In Accident, Show Cancelled

Dead Cross was forced to cancel its concert on Monday, August 21st at El Rey in Los Angeles, California after singer Mike Patton was involved in a skateboard accident. After opening act completed its set, about a half hour passed before guitarist Mike Crain and drummer Dave Lombardo (formerly of Slayer) came out on stage to address the crowd. Dead Cross ended up playing yesterday at the venue to make up for that.

A new era will begin on the 27th of October 2017, as symphonic metal masters Serenity are ready to release a brand new full-length album! The record will be called Lionheart and the first details including cover artwork and tracklist have been unveiled. Lionheart was mixed and mastered by Jan Vacik at Dreamsound Studios. Gyula Havancsák at Hjules Design and Illustrations created the album artwork.

Lloth - To Release New Album

Lloth, the band of the late Maria "Tristessa" Kolokouri, which later changed their name to Astarte, have announced the release of a new album entitled Αθάνατη (pronounced "Athanati"), which means "immortal" in Greek. It was mixed and mastered at Tico-Tico studios ( Impaled Nazarene, Nightfall, Moonsorrow, Sentenced, Astarte, Sonata Arctica) in Finland and the cover artwork was handpainted on canvas by Timo Wuerz (Acheron, Astarte, Necromantia).
