Uriah Heep - Bassist/Vocalist John Wetton Dies

Sad news to report. The short lived Uriah Heep and King Crimson bassist/vocalist John Wetton, who was more known for his work with proggers Asia has passed away aged 67, following a battle with cancer, according to his bandmates.

Vastum - To Tour In Europe This March

San Francisco death metal horde Vastum has announced a string of tour dates surrounding their performance at The Netherlands Death Fest. The band will raid Europe on the Eight Days Of Death. The announcement is joined by news of label home 20 Buck Spin's plans to reissue the band's primal debut album, Carnal Law, which has been out-of-print on vinyl since its 2011 release.

The Swedes Vampire have unveiled the cover for their upcoming second full length album, With Primeval Force, a piece of handcrafted art by renowned artist Nick Keller. Nova Collective - Band Feat. Dan Briggs, Richard Henshall To Release Debut

A new prog collective has been introduced. It's called Nova Collective and on March 10th, the band featuring members of Between The Buried And Me, Haken, Trioscapes, Cynic will release their debut album, The Further Side, via Metal Blade Records. Nova Collective's music can be described as "fusion, weaving progressive rock influences with world music, jazz and classical, to create something entirely new that is pure aural candy for prog/jazz fans." Amon Amarth - Announces US Tour With Goatwhore

After touring the world this past year in support of their new album, Jomsviking, Amon Amarth will head back out on the road this spring for a USA tour with Goatwhore, shortly after their scheduled European tour. Arch Enemy - Share Video From Upcoming DVD

Arch Enemy have now launched a live video for "War Eternal", filmed at Wacken 2016 and taken from their upcoming live DVD/Blu-ray, As The Stages Burn! which will be released on March 31st, 2017.
