Babymetal - Premiere New Video

Entombed - Update On War Over Band Name

The ongoing dispute between members of the Swedish metal band Entombed over the rights to the group's brand name continues with a new chapter. Earlier this month, the Swedish Patent And Registration Office rejected Entombed frontman Lars-Göran "LG" Petrov's bid to stop guitarist Alex Hellid's trademark registration to sell beverages under the Entombed moniker. The singer is currently touring and releasing albums under the moniker of Entombed A.D.. Basically, Alex Hellid can sell beverages under the band name.

Behexen - Detail New Album, Coming In May

The Finns Behexen are back 4 years after the release of Nightside Emanations and have just revealed the title, tracklist and artwork of their forthcoming demonic new album, The Poisonous Path. The cover artwork was crafted by Kristiina Lehto (Baptism, Horna, Sargeist) and the album has been scheduled for release on May 27th through Debemur Morti Productions and will ba vailable on CD, vinyl and digital edition.

Zhrine - Share Another New Track

Iceland's death metal purveyors Zhrine have shared another song from their debut album, Unortheta. "Utopian Warfare" is the name of the track you can listen to below before their album is released via Season of Mist on April 8th. Gone Postal changed their name to Shrine in 2014 but have now settled on Zhrine for this release. Guitarist/vocalist Nökkvi is also in Svartidauรฐi.

Drudkh - Releasing Split With Hades Almighty, Share Track

Drudkh have new material to share today. The Ukrainian black metallers, in fact, are preparing a new release and it's a split with Norwegians Hades Almighty. Metallica - Share Two Live Songs From 'Ride The Lightning' Reissue

The Deluxe Edition of Metallica's milestone record Ride The Lightning is being released next month on April 15th via Blackened Recordings. Included in this edition are recordings of a show they headlined in San Francisco on March 15th, 1985. They headlined the second of two shows at the Kabuki Theater in San Francisco 31 years ago. Here's a little taste of the recording of that gig via SoundCloud below. It's "Motorbreath" and a cover version of the Diamond Head classic "Am I Evil?". Yes, I am.
