Testament - In The Studio

Thrashers Testament are back in the studio! The follow-up to Dark Roots Of Earth released back in 2012 is finally shaping up. Vocalist Chuck Billy and guitarist Eric Peterson are demoing new material and have shared the first photos from the process. The new album will feature bassist Steve DiGiorgio, who returned to the band after the departure of Greg Christian. Their next record is expected to be released this year.

Soilwork - Releasing First DVD/Blu-Ray, Details Announced

Back in March 2014, Soilwork performed a special show at Circus Club in Helsinki, Finland. Now they have announced the release of their anticipated first ever live DVD/Blu-ray, Live In The Heart Of Helsinki on March 13th, 2015 through Nuclear Blast Records. Riverside - Unveil New Album Title And More

The Polish prog unit Riverside have revealed the title of their upcoming new record and the first details about it. Love, Fear And The Time Machine is the title of the sixth Riverside album. The band has just finished composing the new material. With the band starting the recording process in March, it will be possible to follow the progress of their work on a special Instagram profile they created. The quartet promises this record will be very different from what they have done so far.

Inferno Metal Festival 2015 - Special Event Announced

There will be a special show at Kulturhuset in Oslo during the Inferno Festival, where Vulture Industries and graphic artist Costin Chioreanu will come together on stage, performing what they have called The Babylon Spiral Show. It is said that it "combines the atmosphere and aesthetics of the Expressionist Cinema of 1920's Germany with the intensity and eeriness of a Vulture Industries concert". Also playing that night will be avantgarde metallers Virus.

Virus - Limited Pro-Tape Release Announced

Norwegian avantgarde metallers Virus, who are confirmed for a few festival appearances this year, will see their second album The Black Flux available for the first time in reel format via Archetapes Industries. The Black Flux will be limited to 100 hand-numbered pro-tapes.

After being quiet for a while, The Agonist have premiered a new video today! The band has just completed the official video for "Gates Of Horns And Ivory," the album opener.
